Student Course
Lesson Content
Have you ever wanted to practice what you learned at school, or check if your understanding was correct? English is a compulsory subject in Japan, and Japanese students study it very hard, but despite that, many people say they can't use it in the workplace, can't remember it, and are bad at English, because there are so few opportunities to actually use it.
At Eds School, we incorporate topics that students are interested in into our lessons. For example, if a student is interested in cooking, we will cook in English and create an environment where students can learn English through their interests.
For those who want to learn English properly, we will practice by organizing what sentence structures can be used in what situations, in line with the curriculum of the school and the Ministry of Education. This class will develop the English you learned at school into English that you can communicate with, focusing on speaking (practice of speaking) and listening (practice of listening comprehension), which are not covered in the school hours. Pronunciation instruction will also be provided.
The more opportunities you have to use it, the more it will stick in your memory. The joy and experience of actually using it and being able to communicate will have a big impact on your language learning. In addition to my own original teaching materials, I will use reliable ones such as those approved by the British Association for the Teaching of English.

Eiken Preparation Course
In the Eiken preparation course at Eds School, we improve the four skills of reading, writing, speaking, and listening at the same time. All lessons are conducted in English. The advantage of this is that you can naturally get used to native English pronunciation and acquire the English skills to smoothly handle interviews, which are essential from Eiken Grade 3 onwards.
Last year, a student who passed the Eiken Grade Pre-2 exam attended this course and improved his speaking score by nearly 40 points.
