I’m fully aware of the pressures of the workplace in Japanese society. I understand that it might not be possible for a student to have lessons at the same time every week. Therefore, I am flexible in providing lessons to adults.

Before taking on a new adult student, I will meet with them and make an assessment of their level of English and their requirements of the use of English. For example, if a person wants to learn English with business in mind I will tailor the lessons to teach this. The course and curriculum are individual to that person. This enables me to teach all aspects of English, for example grammar and sentence structure, with a level of formality, required by the student.

I’m also aware, that Many Japanese people,lack practice in speaking and listening to English. I therefore, ensure that this is a priority in all of my lessons.

I also offer conversation sessions to adults, either on a one-to-one basis or in a group. Conversation sessions are tailored to the requirements and interests of the individual students or group.
